DAY 1 PURI

As I told in my previous  post,we reached Puri in the afternoon, had our lunch and then decided  to visit sea beach as it was very close to our hotel so we went, it took us only five minutes  to reach  there and in the way you'll even get to see shamshan ghat which was horrible  for me and also I was very saddened  by that because there was many bodies being burnt. I have never seen many bodies being buried  together  so it took me some time to realise that reality  is very different, there are cries and pain everywhere.
Okay so moving  on!!
We reached the beach and I was sitting  quietly, taking pictures and chilling.
I never liked beaches because I think they are way too boring but that day it was so calming.
I think every deep- thinkers (like me) would love to sit alone, listen to the sound of waves, winds rushing through your hairs.
The sound of smooth winds might be your companion that time.

Some of my friends joined me and asked me for a camel ride.
The camels were beautifully decorated and each ride costs around Rs.100 or 200 which was actually okay as the ride was long.
But then suddenly my phone died which made me tensed. I was not comfortable there was  lot of things going on my mind.
I tried to solace myself with the sound of waves and the beautiful sunset.

If you love shopping and bargaining, you must visit the Puri Beach Market. It is actually the most finest place to bargain as I bargained a lot. You can buy showpieces or displays. It is a perfect place to buy Lord Jagannath's idols.

There are many beautiful idols to buy.
This is how it looks in the night.

Jai Jagannath
Jai Puri
In my next post I'll be sharing everything about Lord Jagannath's temple.
Stay connected,
